Keypitt™ Digitizes Wardrobe at Søpavillionen
Faster Queues, Better Guest Experience, and Increased Security
Copenhagen, January 8, 2026 – The Danish tech company Keypitt™ takes another step in the digitalization of nightlife as its digital cloakroom solution is rolled out at the iconic Søpavillonen in Copenhagen.
Crumpled paper tickets, long queues, and lost belongings have for years been well-known challenges. On busy nights, the cloakroom is one of the most pressured touchpoints – and at the same time the guests’ first interaction. Keypitt™ replaces the classic paper ticket with a reusable, personal digital KeyPass, which guests only need to create once and can then save in their digital wallet for future visits – completely without the need for an app.
Proven results in practice
Tests from other venues show that throughput in the cloakroom can increase by more than 30%, while the number of lost items is significantly reduced. Should something still be left behind, the owner can easily be contacted via the phone number linked to their digital KeyPass.
Søpavillonen is among the first larger venues in Copenhagen to implement the solution at full scale.
“The cloakroom is an important touchpoint for our guests, especially on busy nights. With Keypitt™, we can reduce queues, increase security, and give both guests and staff a better experience. It’s a simple but significant upgrade of a classic function,”
– Jon Vanggaard Thomsen, Owner / Partner, Søpavillionen
More security and fewer conflicts on the front line
Lost cloakroom tickets are not only a logistical challenge, but also a frequent cause of conflicts between guests and staff, especially late at night. With a digital ticket that won’t accidentally fall out of a pocket, Keypitt™ reduces the risk of disputes and forgotten items in the cloakroom by more than 75%. Since guests can easily be found in the system and contacted via SMS if they forget something.
For staff, this means a safer working environment. For guests, it’s the memory of the dance floor – not the cloakroom – that they take home.
Developed close to the industry
Keypitt™ has been developed in close collaboration with venues and cloakroom staff to ensure the solution works in practice – in nightlife, at concert venues, conferences, and other staffed cloakrooms. Even during peak hours.
“We’ve spent more than 300 hours testing and developing together with the industry. The cloakroom has remained largely unchanged for over 100 years, and our goal is to deliver a solution that truly improves flow and creates value for guests, employees, and venues,” – Karla Pitt Winther, CEO & Stifter hos Keypitt™
Part of a broader digitalization strategy
The implementation at Søpavillonen, one of the country’s major nightlife players, is part of a broader movement where cultural and nightlife operators increasingly digitalize operational functions to improve guest and employee experiences – without compromising on pace or atmosphere.
